Notes: textI've taken a bit of a repose from posting here as I've begun to track all my health progress on Spark People. But what's gone on the last month and a half is very good.
I finally take the workout thing seriously. I'm going to the gym 4 days a week and eating better. My diet is still the weakest part of the plan, weekends get crazy.
I logged in today to see what I weighed last year at this time, which was in the 260's...so I'm better today as far as weight, and I'm surely a lot better off because I feel stronger and more fit.

I actually cracked a tear off in the one scene with a great line "Sometimes, I guess there's just not enough rocks." This is a great metaphor for anyone that's been angry at, or had to deal with diffiult events in their life.

Breakfast: Oatmeal to go!, vitamins, coffee, orange for mid morning snack
Lunch: 8 oz. chicken & fettuccini, yogurt snack for afternoon
Dinner: Pizza at Ryan's house along with some Axis & Allies!
Exercise: 0/14, my new focus is 4 workouts a week (M, T & Th, F)
Notes: I feel good, I'm not losing a lot of weight but I am happy with my renewed focus on shopping for food, eating lunch in and an increased workout load with the new bowflex.

Health tracker update
I am going to change how often I weigh myself. Currently I do it once a week on Thursday. I've changed this to Wednesday for a competition at work. But the real change is that I will weigh myself on Friday and Monday morning as well. This will help me keep track of how bad my weekends are. I'll be less inclined to think "well I have till Wednesday to weigh in, I can recover". I'll still only track my weekly weight on this blog once a week.

Dinner: Smart ones pasta & veggies (maybe yogurt if I'm hungry from lunch)
Exercise: Upper body morning workout (10/14)
Notes: It will be a difficult day to fast, the last meal I will eat will be around 5pm, and I have 4 hours of classs and 2.5 hours of driving. I don't beleive coffe is out of bounds so I may just have a plain (not caramel sugary) one tonight.

Exercise: Lower body workout, currently at 9/14...my legs haven't had a workout like that in a looong time.
Notes: I really like the new Bowflex, it is going to be a great improvement to my health plan. It just takes a while to do exercises rihght now because I have to read the book to see how to set up exercises. Once you do it once though it's pretty easy & quick.

Exercise: Worked out this morning (13/14) and will hit 14 with a workout tonight or tomorrow morning
Notes: I really prefer working out in the morning, it's just a bitch getting up. But if it's a discipline I can refocus on, my workouts will improve and normally my sleep patterns do as well.
